Our front yard is Xeriscape with a dry creek bed. You’ll see several flowering plumb trees and evergreens as well as ornamental grasses. Back yard is pavers with man made creek and waterfalls, full of many annuals and perennials.
This garden includes small and large garden rooms, Japanese garden, landscaped miniature railroad, flower and vegetable gardens and several water features. I am a retired educator who loves the learning involved in the pursuit of gardening.
You are invited to stroll this 2 acre garden and enjoy the peace, beauty, fun and whimsy it offers! Take a slow walk thru a beautiful labyrinth with deliberate meditation and enjoy the peaceful water feature running thru the native scrub oak.
This enchanting 2.5 acre garden was designed as an entertaining space. The landscape boasts more than 5,000 plant and 300 tree specimens, including rare maples, sequoias, cypress, cedar, and a 90-year old bonsai tree.
The beauty of grand, English-style plantings await you in the Hanks garden. A large rock waterfall provides soothing, tranquil sound throughout the entire space which includes a Japanese garden and a fun little “secret” garden!
An inspiring example of what you can do with a small back yard – still plenty of space for large family gatherings, terraced areas for gorgeous flowers, a slightly hidden vegetable garden nd a super cute gardening shed.
Highlights of the garden include espalier fruit trees, a peaceful Koi pond and many varieties of container plantings. As an added bonus, the chicken coop is home to five Leghorns which produce fresh eggs daily and great compost!
This is a timeless garden that features a gazebo with a view of the Salt Lake valley, private courtyard, pond with waterfalls, numerous topiaries, trimmed hedges and a conscious use of color and design.
These gardeners accepted the challenge of terracing the slopes on their property and ended up with a relaxing gazebo, hobby greenhouse, vegetable garden, perennial and semi-shade beds as well as various other fun areas of interest!
This is the fairy garden of all fairy gardens! Pam’s entire back yard is full of miniature fairy scenarios, hobbit homes and, of course, a troll! You’ll be swept away to childhood memories of play, serenity, and imagination in this fairy garden wonderland.
