The Andersens built their home in 2015 and had a blank slate for the yard. The first spring they put in the front yard and every year after that worked on a different section of the backyard adding fun elements like a par terre cottage garden, 13’ tall swing set made from steel I-beams, forest hammock area, greenhouse (where Jessica started 1500 plants this spring) and a raised bed garden. Last fall she built a modern concrete fountain spilling into mountain streams with a fairy garden in the center. Their yard is a place of peace and refuge overflowing with beautiful plants and flowers.
