My husband built our contemporary home in 1981 and we have enjoyed planting our garden with perennials that bring interest to each season. We bought and planted over 25 potted trees that we used in our home for Christmas trees and then planted them over our backyard hill after each Christmas. We love our 3 wind sculptures by Lyman Whitaker and enjoy the beauty they add to our yard. Last Spring we added 2 Xeriscape areas to our garden – replacing a lawn area and a planted perennial area. We have enjoyed the grasses and succulents in those new areas.
