Hi there, I'm Cindy!

I have dabbled in gardening all my life and have always had a love for nature, however, my skills and knowledge grew when I joined the Utah Valley Garden Club back in 2001.

The first thing I found was that I instantly had new friends!  Because we had a love for gardening in common, we had plenty to share and talk about and suddenly these strangers became amazing friends – friendships that have lasted through the years.

I also gained inspiration from garden tours and walking with experienced landscape designers who taught me why these gardens looked so amazing.  We had classes on all kinds of subjects such as pruning roses, varieties of daylilies, shade gardening, the right kinds of trees to plant, and so on.

Fast forward to today where garden clubs have all but disappeared, but technology has skyrocketed.  In order to reach as many people as possible and accomodate our busy schedules, I have created the online Perennial Garden Club.
